Team Information
Midgets
The Midget team is comprised of mostly high school players under the age of 18 who may play a split season (around the high school schedule) players and possibly compete in the New York State Sectional Tournament with the goal of advancing to and winning the New York State Tournament.  If a Tournament-bound team forms, then Midgets will play 8-10 games before the high school season begins and then 4-6 games after the high school season ends.

Bantam Travel
Bantam Travel hockey offers experienced players the opportunity to play hockey at a higher competitive level. Bantam travel players compete in the New York State Sectional Tournament with the goal of advancing to and winning the New York State Tournament.  Bantam Travel players will play other teams in Tier III, Central Section throughout the season as well as travel to tournaments and play approximately 40 games.

Peewee Travel
Peewee Travel hockey offers experienced players the opportunity to play hockey at a higher competitive level that generally requires a deeper commitment to the game. Players are required to try-out for travel hockey teams to test their strengths, skills, and agility. Peewee travel players compete in the New York State Sectional Tournament with the goal of advancing to and winning the New York State Tournament.  Peewee Travel players will play other teams in Tier III, Central Section throughout the season as well as travel to tournaments and play approximately 40 games.

Peewee Snowbelt
Peewee Snowbelt hockey offers players the opportunity to play competitive hockey where equal ice time is shared by all players in games.  Peewee Snowbelt team will play other competitive regional Snowbelt teams and compete in the Snowbelt JAM Tournament at the end of the season.  Peewee Snowbelt players can expect to travel to tournaments and play approximately 30 games.

Squirt Travel
Squirt Travel hockey offers players the opportunity to play hockey at a higher competitive level that generally requires a deeper commitment to the game. Players are required to try-out for travel hockey teams to test their strengths, skills, and agility. Squirt Travel players will play other teams in Tier III, Central Section throughout the season as well as travel to tournaments and play approximately 40 games. 

*CCYHA is not fielding a Squirt Travel team this year

Squirt Snowbelt hockey offers players the opportunity to play competitive hockey where equal ice time is shared by all players in games.  Squirt Snowbelt team will play other competitive regional Snowbelt teams and compete in the Snowbelt JAM Tournament at the end of the season.  Squirt Snowbelt players can expect to travel to tournaments and play approximately 30 games.

Mite A
The Mite A team (2011-2012) offers players the opportunity to play hockey at a higher competitive level that generally requires a deeper commitment to the game. Approximately 13 Mite players will be selected based on skating skills and strength in December.  This team will be allowed to play full ice games from January to March 2012.  These weekend games may include local and regional tournaments and other competitive games from regional associations.

Red, White, and Blue Mites
The Mite team(s) will offer skaters ages 7-8 the opportunity to develop skating and puck handling skills in a fun and encouraging environment.  Mite teams will play frequent in-house cross-ice games and have opportunities to play teams from other associations.

Initiation Program
The Initiation Program provides an introduction to ice hockey with skating skills being the primary focus.  IP provides an opportunity for players to learn the fundamentals while developing in a fun, safe, and encouraging atmosphere.  IP skaters are generally ages 4-6, but also include other first-time skaters from older youth.
