Travis started Hyde Hockey Development in 2020 to offer summer lessons and clinics to players seeking development toward fundamental skills and game situations. His previous coaching experience at numerous levels including AAA, Junior, and College offers a unique perspective to all players. Travis is currently the Head Coach and General Manager for Oswego State's Men's Club Ice Hockey Program, finishing in the top 30 in the country and losing in the conference championship this past season. Prior to that, Travis spent a season as the Graduate Assistant Coach with Ohio University (ACHA Div. I), working to complete his Master's Degree in Recreational Studies and Sports Science while helping to lead to a top 5 nationally ranked finish before COVID cut the season short of a National Tournament trip. Travis is also a Lead Family Advisor for Advancement Hockey Advisement out of Ottawa, Ontario. Before his coaching career, Travis played in the NECHL conference as a forward from 2016-2018 with Cortland State and Junior hockey in the Boston, Massachusetts area.

Coach Hyde's philosophy is one of a humanistic approach toward developing humanistic aspects that will not only help in the mental side of hockey, but in coping life as well. In a world where mental illness is becoming more associated with sport and the strenuous nature of summer training, this is something Travis loves to have implemented in his programs. His philosophies will allow you to extend outside your comfort zone for the best development.
