Travis Hyde:

Travis Hyde founded Hyde Hockey Development in 2020, specializing in the fundamentals and sport-specific skills of the game.

 

Travis progressed through the ladder of development as a player through youth, AAA, Junior, and collegiate levels, working as a skill development coach in Boston and obtaining a Bachelor's Degree of Kinesiology during that process. 

 

After a successful playing career, Travis began coaching at the junior ranks, then to the collegiate ranks while completing a Masters Degree in Recreational Studies and Sports Science from Ohio University, where he was the Assistant Coach for their Men's Division 1 ACHA Hockey Team, finishing 4th in the country during 2020. At Ohio, Travis worked within the University's Campus Recreation sector as a Program Coordinator for their Learn to Play Hockey, with direct affiliation to the Columbus Blue Jackets. 

 

Currently, Travis works within the Syracuse Nationals AAA Organization in Cicero, NY as the Head Coach for the 16U AAA, and Assistant Coach for the 18U AAA boys teams and will become the Head coach at the 18U level next season.
